I am an amateur, self-taught photographer. Art in any medium has always been a part of my life, however my personality prefers the instant gratification of a photo. 

 

My Photography Mantra:

 

I consider a portrait to be successful when it captures the individual's true self, this usually occurs in moments when they forget that the camera exists.

 

Photoshop is useful, but I try my best to avoid it. I often leave photos raw, exposing the beauty of imperfections, or what I like to call character. 

 

With every shot, there is a lesson to be learned, always.
